By using the Live English website and booking lessons, you agree to these terms. We wrote them in plain language so you know what to expect from us, and what we expect from you.
Lessons
- All lessons are live, one-to-one and online with the teacher.
- Lesson times are shown in your own time zone. Please check the time before you book.
- You need a good internet connection and a phone or computer. Headphones are recommended.
The trial lesson
The trial lesson is a full, paid lesson for $20. We find your level and goal and make your plan, and then you decide whether you want to continue.
Courses and how long they are valid
- Basic English Course: 5 lessons, valid for 30 days from purchase.
- Standard English Course: 10 lessons, valid for 30 days from purchase.
- Intensive English Course: 15 lessons, valid for 2 months (60 days) from purchase.
- Use the lessons in a course within its validity period. Lessons you booked before the end date keep their time.
- Prices are paid in US dollars. The amount in Saudi riyals shown on the packages is approximate.
- You pay only once for each course. No course renews automatically, and nothing is charged after you buy it. When a course is finished, you can choose to buy another.
Rescheduling and cancelling
- You can reschedule or cancel a lesson from your account up to 6 hours before it starts, and the lesson goes back to your balance.
- If it is less than 6 hours before the lesson, message us in the chat and we will try to help.
- If the teacher has to move a lesson, we agree on a new time with you, and you do not lose the lesson.
Refunds
If you buy a course and do not use any of its lessons while it is valid, or you book the trial lesson and cannot take it, you get a full refund. The details are in our refund policy.
If you have any other problem with a lesson or a course, contact us and we will work with you to find a fair solution.
Learning materials
The materials you receive in lessons and in your account are for your personal learning only. You may not publish, sell or share them publicly without permission.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account password safe. Your account is for you alone and may not be shared with another person.
You can delete your account and all your data at any time from your account page. The details are in our privacy policy.
